They lived here with their children and my cousins and I spent part of our childhood here. I remember it as a huge place through the eyes of a little girl: we played hide and seek in the rooms and the garden where I spent a lot of time. Today I wanted to recreate the cosy and intimate atmosphere, transforming their home into something special. Even the name is unique: Frími is the freedom that I gave myself when I let me imagination run free to create rooms that communicate emotions. Frími is also the opportunity of those who come to this place to feel at home, taking tea in the living room, reading on the chaise lounge while sipping a drink. Frími is being free to travel, leave and come back when you want, leaving behind your worries to feel light. That is why our logo is a stylised version of a migratory bird. But above all it’s the freedom to choose the room you prefer, the one where you feel at ease. Frími reflects my taste but was created as a space to share with guests. Every architectural intervention and piece of furniture has been selected to create a relaxing environment with an original style. Frími is a boutique hotel. I like to think that when leave here, you will take something with you: some of the pieces in the rooms are for sale. Check the price list and feel free to ask for information.
